With over 17 years of civil engineering experience, Ben brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to complex land development projects throughout Texas.

Ben has successfully led a diverse range of public and private developments, including commercial, industrial, multifamily, healthcare, office, retail, and mixed-use developments.

As Co-Founder and President of Setterbo Engineers, Ben leads the firm's technical operations and oversees projects from early feasibility and entitlement through design, permitting, and construction. He works closely with developers, owners, architects, and contractors to evaluate site constraints, navigate regulatory requirements, and develop practical engineering solutions that support both project goals and long-term success. His expertise includes site development, grading, utilities, drainage, floodplain analysis, and permitting.

Ben is a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Floodplain Manager in the State of Texas. In 2018, he was recognized as Young Engineer of the Year by the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, Bexar County Chapter, for his technical abilities, professional achievements, and civic involvement.

Outside the office, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, staying active outdoors, and serving alongside his family in their local community.
